This seems to be their never ending passion, for women all over the world have something in common, no doubt they might differ in their nature and appearances, but this is one thing that they will have in common and that is jewelry. There are many such countries that give great significance and importance to bridal jewelry, and what could be a better e.g. than the country India, that is known for its rich customer and traditions being practiced very sincerely since ancient times. Bridal ornaments and jewelry are of great importance, when the girl gets married, for they have be planned and designed almost some few months ago and if you thought that was it, then read this. There are many other superstitious and beliefs that have been associated with them too.
Bridal jewelry is considered to be so important that they have to be designed and ordered according to different customs and traditions. Every single thing be it a wedding sari or their wedding ornaments and jeweler are carefully planned and there are many traditional jewelry designs that are crafted and designed only for such prestigious occasions and events, coming up once in their lifetime.
There is one superstition that is followed in India about bridal jewelry, like the lady after getting married just can remove the wedding ring out of her fingers, unless some grave emergency or she was forced on medical grounds. This is because; the wedding ring seems to be given by her husband for her protection, so they believe that removing it could have disastrous effects.
Another superstition that is associated with these bridal ornaments is that the lady just cannot wear any ornament or jewelry that has pearl embedded in them. This is because they usually believe that the husband would make her cry every time and they would not be having a happy married life.
So one can really know the importance of these bridal ornaments, especially in custom rich countries such as India
